I love a good family get together; I photograph all types of events; anniversary parties, milestones, birthday parties, celebrations, commiserations and anything else you can think of, with a storytelling approach. I strive to make real photographs of loved ones, families, and friendships that matter to you.

There are three types of event photography sessions to suit a variety of requirements;
Party all day is ideal for telling the full story of the day, from preparations, right through your special event to the goodbyes - up to 8 hours documentary photography.

Special occasion is perfect for big family get togethers and special ceremonies - up to 4 hours documentary photography

Petite party is great for children’s birthday parties, small ceremonies and family get-togethers - up to 2 hours documentary photography

My approach to event photography and what to expect
At your event, enjoy yourselves, get lost in the occasion and allow the genuine moments of joy, humour and warmth to be documented without a care in the world.
With the documentary approach there’ll be no standing on ceremony, awkward posing or saying “cheese” to the camera for what seems like an eternity. This day is all about you and your friends and family, having the time of your lives.
If you have any specific requests such as group pictures or individual portraits, we can still make that happen. Relaxed portraits can be worked into the day at a time and location that suits everyone best.

Online or in person consultation to discuss your requirements and plan your event.
A curated private online gallery with all of the high resolution digital photographs in both colour and black and white, to download, print and share.
A slideshow of the session set to music which you can download and re-live with your friends and family (on repeat)!
Complimentary fine art design service should you wish
A beautiful 10 x10″ heritage fabric fine art album to treasure, designed exclusively by Nic Shuttleworth.
Payment can be made in full, or in 2 or 3 instalments before the session.

Event photography sessions are available anywhere in the UK and Europe by arrangement, for locations outside Yorkshire let me know your whereabouts and I can calculate any additional travel costs for you.

Around 4 weeks after your session you will receive a link to view your private online gallery of curated photographs and watch the slideshow (on repeat)!
You’ll also get the opportunity to purchase from a range of beautiful fine art print products should you wish.
And that’s it! You’ll have access to the private online gallery for 12 months, plenty of time to download everything and order any fine art print products you desire.
