Brand Photography Guide
Documentary photography for businesses with a story to tell.
My approach
Telling REAL stories lies at the heart of everything I do, creating powerful images which connect human beings (customers) to your brand on a deeper, emotional level to differentiate you from the crowd.
Real life is so much more interesting than anything we can stage, from relaxed environmental portraits, fly-on-the-wall documentary of your business, process or events, I embrace real life and seek out authentic moments to highlight the personality of your people and brand through an honest lens, and without any fuss.
Why choose me
I have a 20+ year background in brand identity development & visual language, which gives me an excellent understanding of the needs of your business from a photography perspective. I work with your brand values and visual assets to create powerful images that best reflect your work.
My work has recently been selected as a winner in the Portrait of Britain by the British Journal of Photography, selected by Vogue, published by Shutterhub & Bluecoat Press and won many international awards. You’re in safe hands lets say!
*A documentary or environmental portrait is an authentic portrait in the environment where you work, or a location that tells a wider story about who you are as a person.

What to Expect During Your Brand Photography session.
On the day I focus on telling the true story of your brand - whether that’s through relaxed environmental portraits, behind-the-scenes documentary, and capturing the energy of your people, process and events.
It’s the small, everyday details that make a workplace special - like Jean making her daily rounds with the biscuit trolley at 11am (I really miss Jean), packed with homemade biscuits, or the office dog, Bernard, who sleeps under Sarah’s desk.
These stories bring personality and warmth to your brand, making it feel human and relatable. My goal is to create powerful, emotionally resonant images that connect with your audience on a deeper level, setting you apart in a way that is real and effortless. No fuss, no fake poses - just honest, compelling visuals that highlight the heart of your business.
I keep things light - both in the way I work, and the equipment I use. No bulky gear, no flash, no disruption to your day. I simply get stuck in and capture things as they happen, without getting in the way (as best as I can). The only time I might step in is for a documentary portrait, which is swiftly done in the moment.
